LUXURY HOME SPA
Location: North York, Toronto
Concept: Studio P Interiors was commissioned for a home spa renovation in Toronto, transforming the lower level of a private residence into a serene, modern retreat. The existing space—connected to an indoor pool—was redesigned for a retired couple looking to refresh a dated layout and improve functionality for their growing family, including many grandchildren.
The redesigned Toronto home spa now features two private change rooms, a custom vanity area, sauna, spacious walk-in shower, full bathroom, laundry, and storage space. Custom architectural screens were introduced to define zones within the open-concept layout, offering privacy while maintaining an elegant and airy feel. Material selection was central to the transformation. The dramatic Calacatta Viola marble adds organic luxury to the main vanity and shower details. Complementary large-format porcelain tiles—carefully selected to mimic natural travertine—extend throughout the spa, blending a timeless aesthetic with low-maintenance durability. Design details were elevated with Kallista plumbing fixtures, including marble insets in the shower and vibrant turquoise accents that add a refined, playful energy to the bathroom space.
